Also known as nose surgery, nose reshaping or nose job
Persons have surgery on their nose for one of two reasons: breathing difficulties or they just don’t like the way their nose looks. A rhinoplasty will attempt to correct problems pointed out by the patient to provide improvements in the appearance of your nose.
A septoplasty will correct internal breathing obstructions related to a deviated septum. After a thorough nasal exam, Dr. Dardano will discuss different options with you and advise you as to which approach will be best suited for you.
When to Consider Nose Surgery
- If you are unhappy with the shape, size or angle of your nose
- If your nose is too large, too small or not in proportion to the rest of your face
- If you have breathing problems resulting from irregularities inside your nose
- If you have a nasal hump or a nasal tip that is drooping, too elevated or wide
